‘Crash’ shows racial tensions in Los Angeles in a simplified but effective way
“Crash” is a drama from 2004 starring Don Cheadle and Sandra Bullock. The movie, winner of the Oscar for best picture, gives a fictional account of social and racial tensions in Los Angeles.
In a simplified but effective way the film takes up issues such as police abuse, discrimination and prejudice. Crash may be 16 years old but the issues it touches are as current as ever. A must see!
